1)Locals, people, culture

What makes any vacation or destination a memorable one is the people. Saint Lucia’s locals are some of the nicest, friendliest and most welcoming people in the whole Caribbean. Saint Lucia’s locals are easy going.

2)Beaches/nature

Saint Lucia is blessed with having some of the best beaches in the whole world. What truly makes them special is the variety. Whether you are looking for a quiet and secluded beach, or whether a party atmosphere is what you are looking for, Saint Lucia will have something for everyone.

One of the best beaches on the island is the one at Anse Chastanet. It is open to the public and it is really worth the bumpy drive from the town of Soufriere. Nestled between the two Pitons, it is a fantastic beach with a coral reef just a few meter out from shore. Grab a snorkel or a pair of goggles because the reef is absolutely amazing. Sea Turtles, Corals and plenty of coloufrul Caribbean fish, this reef is truly unique.

3)Hidden gems

Saint Lucia, or “La Belle Helene” as it is commonly called, it truly one of the Caribbeans hidden gems. With hidden beaches and recluses and small beach bars, this island is meant to be explored. In my opinion, the best way to enjoy the hidden parts of the island is either by foot or by ATV. Hiking is a fantastic way to explore the island and taking a hike up the Piton is one-hundred percent worth it. It is a long trek up, it takes a few hours to get up, but the view at the top makes it all worth it. Make sure you avoid the middle of the day when it is hottest if you plan on hiking all the way up.

If hiking is not your thing, and ATV is another great way to get to know this amazing Caribbean island. Yet, you can explore the island by foot too! Many of the hidden gems of the island are completely reachable by foot. Saint Lucia is meant to be explored, it is a fantastic island with so many hidden beauties.

See you in Saint Lucia!
